A day of shame

Posted on November 30th, 2009

The Lakas-Kampi-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) national convention on November 19 showed without a doubt that the Lakas-Kampi, CMD is the dominant political party to reckon with in the country.

None of the other sprouting parties were able to muster such an impressive crowd of party members at such a big venue as the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), despite the much-ballyhooed survey results published by clearly biased survey groups. There is no doubt whatsoever that the Lakas-Kampi-CMD nationwide machinery starting from the grassroots to the regional and national levels, when properly harnessed, will propel Gibo Teodoro and Edu Manzano to a formidable position come election time next year.

Drumbeaters of the Liberal and the Nacionalista parties are harping on the so-called “exodus” of some administration party personalities to their side but this is already an expected occurrence every election time. Lakas-Kampi-CMD leaders are glad, however, that the party is self-cleansing and getting rid of extra baggage for its machinery to run smoothly and effectively. As long as the grassroots leaders in the barangays remain steadfast, the administration team will continue its momentum and grow stronger. The other big names can only remain strong if they stay in control of the leaders and their wards in the communities because these are the people who carry most of the load of the campaign. On the other hand, I am confident that the Lakas-Kampi-CMD barangay party leaders through the municipal and provincial leaders with whom the administration party enjoys so much popularity will deliver the big difference in the May 2010 contest.

During the Lakas-Kampi-CMD convention on November 9, Gibo and Edu demonstrated their suitability to the job by their extemporaneous speeches, so unlike some of the much-publicized candidates who are running on the coattails of their parents, who have to read from notes and be coached in order to be coherent. It’s like Gibo and Edu saying, “Game Na!”

To the electorate, politicians who transfer from one party to another—the so-called political butterflies—are those who lack principles and clear intentions to serve this nation with honesty and dedication, nor are they driven by love of country and their desire to bring progress to the people and the republic. The political butterflies see only opportunities for their self-interest, flitting from party to another to which they are attracted because of the come-on of survey results, like moths to flame. Loyalty is a word alien to them and I won’t be surprised if one day, they will eat their own words and see the folly of their moral dysfunction.

Definitely, Noynoy Aquino cannot continue to hide behind the skirts of his departed mother and his siblings when faced with the burning issue that is Hacienda Luisita. If he is his own man and if family interests will not cloud his mind regarding this sensitive issue which has already taken the lives of hacienda farmers who tilled the land for his family for decades, Noynoy should address this issue bravely and frontally, and with finality. If he fails to resolve this issue with wisdom worthy of a future president then the Hacienda Luisita issue will always be a nagging problem to his campaign, and even beyond.

The Manny Villar-Loren Legarda tandem on the surface looks formidable. But clearly it is a marriage of convenience. The question is, whose convenience? Remember that Legarda was one of the anti-Villar senators who moved for his ouster as Senate president. Before the teamup, each one was desperately in need of a partner, so much so that even when their principles and political portfolios were on direct collision courses, they embraced each other, which many believe has lowered the moral perspective of Philippine politics to a large degree. Do you think so,too?

We should all condemn the massacre of the more than 50 people including media practitioners in Maguindanao last Monday, in an election-related carnage that will forever alter the political climate in Mindanao. This mass murder no longer defines Mindanao politics, as it is beyond politics. It is about greed, lust for power, tribal superiority, machismo, delusion, lunacy, barbarism, a total lack of humanity. What kind of mind can conceive such a plan and carry it out in total disregard of the laws of civilized society? Such a mind is also bereft of compassion and reason, to even contemplate for one second that a massacre of such magnitude can be carried out and escape the vengeance of justice.

We condole with the families of the victims, the dozens who were shot in the head and several times in the body, the women who were raped before they were killed, the innocents whose pleas went ignored, the media practitioners who came with the victims to lend their support that democracy will not be trampled and that the spirit of freedom shall not be threatened, and to prove by their death that they are ready to defend with their lives the cause of freedom. It is a day of our humiliation before the eyes of the world and the victory of Pacquiao and the triumph of Peñaflorida have come to naught. Only the arrest and prosecution of the mastermind and all those who participated in the killings can vindicate us. This inhuman act accelerates the need to restore the death penalty.

We should all condemn Raul Gonzalez Sr. for his track record of consistently protecting criminals — drug dealers and the psychopathic serial murderer Etik Espinosa! Raul Gonzalez Sr. is the resident evil of Iloilo. He can not keep hiding behind his words, all lies and propaganda. Nothing good will ever come out of this extremely greedy and corrupt monkey who will cling to power at any cost. The sooner he disappears from the face of the earth, the better for all of us, especially for all Ilonggos.

Raul Gonzalez Sr., we have all seen what he is… his career of corruption and partiality to violence as the INjustice Secretary says it all! He is is the 80-year-old overaged bastard who “lacks principles and clear intentions to serve this nation with honesty and dedication, nor is he driven by love of country and the desire to bring progress to the people and the republic.”
All Sira Uulo Gonzalez is doing is bribing the barangay captains with a weekly allowance so he can buy their support, hoping that he would become mayor so he can continue spreading murder and drug abuse, even as he fills his bank account with bribes from the criminals. Raul Gonzalez is all about serving his self-interest, his greed for money, and his lust for power. He is an absolute TOXIC WASTE, the absolute worst of all the corrupt trapos.

Raul Gonzalez Sr…. a face of shame, a life of shame, a legacy of shame… the animal who wants to cling to power by bribing the barangay captains!
Raul Gonzalez, bakit ka nagmamalinis? You are by all accounts, the most corrupt and dirtiest politician in the whole history of Iloilo. Your mind is just a garbage can that continues to generate lies and deception non-stop. I gotta go throw up, because reading your blog turns my stomach every time!

In the interest of human rights, and so that the Maguindanao massacre never happens in Iloilo, let us all make sure that Raul Gonzalez Sr. never gets elected as mayor, because this evil man has been proven to condone rape and murder, both equally savage crimes against humanity… and both crimes having been committed in Iloilo repeatedly with Raul Gonzalez’s blessing as DoJ secretary.

There’s an indelible palm print of Gloria Arroyo on the blood of the massacred victims of this atrocious crime. Let it be clear and known throughout the world! The power of this warlord emanates from her. Truth be told, Gloria Arroyo is as heinous as Andal Ampatuan. The same goes for Raul Gonzalez Sr. Murderers of Filipinos!

    Is the Philippines this hopeless?
We are in the 21st century yet there are a lot of people who live like barbarians. This massacre is such a barbaric act.
Kung sino man ang responsible dito ought to die now… such utter disregard for human life. Anong klaseng tao tong mga to. Para lang sa position, grabe.
Kung ganito rin lang…sana sinakop na nga lang tayo ng mga Americans. Look at Guam…much better than us and no violence like this. If this is the answer to end the corruption and stupid killings well I really wish we just become a province of the US.

With this Maguindanao massacre, it sounds like the main laboratory in Manila run by Gloria Aroyo brewed a monster in Mindanao and now it got loose and wreaked havoc.

Remember Mr. Malabor who helped Raul Gonzalez get elected? Remember how Raul Gonzalez stabbed him in the back? Loyalty is a word alien to Gonzalez and he ought to eat his own words and see the folly of his moral dysfunction.

“During the Lakas-Kampi-CMD convention on November 9, Gibo and Edu demonstrated their suitability to the job by their extemporaneous speeches,”
Baw Raul Gonzalez, napaka-gago mo talaga, as if a candidate’s suitability is based on how well he delivers a speech. How shallow is that? Don’t you have anything better to say? Don’t you have anything better to do than run for mayor from your wheelchair? Have you completely lost your mind? No wonder you’re called Sira Ulo!! Nothing could be more apropos!! Daluk-daluk ka gid sa puwesto!!!! Tarantado!!!!!

“We will ensure the expeditious prosecution of all those who are responsible for this atrocity.” — Agnes Devenadera on the Maguindanao massacre –
Compare that with what the bastard Raul Gonzalez did with the accused murderer Etik Espinosa. Gonzalez never lifted a finger “to ensure the expeditious prosecution” of the mastermind of Vice Mayor Rojas’s murder. On top of that, Gonzalez employed every trick in the book to delay the case and prevent it from going to court. One and a half years later, Etik Espinosa still has not been arrested, thanks to Raul Gonzalez not doing anything in the interest of justice for a whole year.
Good thing Agnes Devenadera is now the DoJ secretary, because if it was still Raul Gonzalez, the Ampatuans would never get arrested, just like what happened with Etik Espinosa, given that Raul Gonzalez is the champion of brutal murderers.

Raul Gonzalez is such a sordid cow! We know that he has no compassion for families of murder victims, just like he showed zero compassion to the family of slain Vice Mayor Ramon Rojas. And yet he does not hesitate to use the Maguindanao tragedy to try and make himself look good, faking sympathy that he does not feel. Even if Gonzalez does not pull the trigger, he is as guilty as these violent criminals because he is the known protector of murderers. These monsters exist because of the likes of Raul Gonzalez who are committed to protecting them.

    Shame on you Raul Gonzalez!!!!
“During the four years that he was at the helm of the DOJ, Raul Gonzalez has elevated the phrase “abuse of power” to its worst, with the portfolio being used as a platform to frustrate the anti-drug war efforts of the government and use the DOJ for oppression, harassment and a weapon to commit grave injustices. Gonzalez has definitely set a standard for what a DOJ secretary shouldn’t be.” — Point of View

    SHAME on you Raul Gonzalez!
In a remark defending his P10,000 bribe to each of the 180 Iloilo City barangay captains, Raul Gonzalez said that a one-time harvest at his wife’s poultry farm can easily pay for the P1.8 million bribe. Asked also why he made the “offer”, he arrogantly quipped, “Marami akong pera e.”
How easily and shamelessly Raul Gonzalez flaunts his wealth in the face of the people’s grinding poverty. His cold heart remains unaffected by the sad fact that 15 million Filipinos live on less than P47 pesos a day while he goes around offering bribes to the bribeable.

What else is new? Gloria Arroyo, the Ampatuan family, and our local pig Raul Gonzalez Sr., they are all the same, that’s why they all get along so well. These are beasts who love carnage, who think nothing of butchering innocent people. These are murderers, Hitler-wannabes, who mercilessly and gleefully murder anyone who displeases them. How did our country get here? I was there during the Marcos era… Arroyo’s reign has taken us to a much darker era of brutality and inhumanity. These criminals continue to sink to a new low every time.
Do not discount Raul Gonzalez’s contribution to the culture of violence and impunity, remember always, he is the protector of Iloilo warlord Etik Espinosa! For all the 57 people who were massacred, one Ampatuan and/or supporter should die. You take a life, you pay back in kind! Of course this is wishful thinking, because the PIGS and MURDERERS hold the power in our beloved country.
But we are still alive, it’s up to us the common-tao to be united and continue the fight against the evil in our country, we will triumph, because good still wins over evil, even during these horrific times! We have to be determined, never give up… we cannot just hand our country over to all these murderers who are in power now — Arroyo, Ampatuan, Espinosa, Gonzalez, etc. Let us maintain the outrage and the anger, keep talking about it and continue to raise awareness against brutality. There are a lot more of us every-day-people than those pigs in power. We put them in power, we can strip them of it — 2010 eletion is here. Let us use our votes to defeat the murderers and their protectors! In Iloilo, let us start by defeating Raul Gonzalez Sr, the puppet of Etik Espinosa… defeat him BY A LANDSLIDE!!!!! Bury him into his political grave forever!!!!!!

Raul Gonzalez committed the most heinous human rights violations using his position as secretary of justice. He destroyed justice for crime victims, and brazenly coddled drug pushers and local warlord Etik Espinosa. Sira Ulo Raul Gonzalez sure belongs in the HALL OF SHAME as the most corrupt public official. Yes indeed, he is the resident evil of Iloilo!!!!
