Nope. The idea has already been studied and put to rest. Nothing novel here. No jolt. The heresy comes up every few centuries and then dies away.

Its not a matter of aceptance. The Church lacks authority to ordain. There's no lack of acceptance.

Infallibility by its nature can never fall. As truth can never contradict truth, anything contradicted by truth was never true (infallible) to begin with. Infallibility is always true and as such can never be contradicted and can never fall. Its a philosophy thing.
