Trio Los Bobos [3]
Posted on August 2nd, 2008LOOK, I got another letter about our heroes in the Trio Los Bobos. Without much ado, here it goes.
Dear Mr. Hole,
Greetings sir. I have decided to quit from touching the issues about the kingdom by the river but at one time, three known opposition to the king jokingly grilled me in admitting that I am Dayunyor, the vendor who fed you the story of the Trio los bobos headed by Kuyabog.
Under the atmosphere of new but good friendship, I was obliged to admit to the three guys that I am really the Dayunyor they are looking for. And here’s what I have learned from them and their “asset” in so short a time. It is about the lost property of the kingdom which the property custodian can identify by its serial numbers: SN-0530427134, CANON EOS-3500.
The first above, “SN-0530427134”, is the serial number, the second, “Canon EOS-3500”, is the model of the digital camera owning that serial number, property of the kingdom by the river whose sovereign we are, taxpayers.
As the “asset” of the three guys revealed, the camera now is a personal property of Kuyabog. It came to his private possession by some turn of events that began months ago when the camera was reported missing or stolen by a frequenting jerk to the kingdom by the river.
The digital camera was a public property but now it is privately owned. It was used to take photos for media releases in favor to the king but no longer serving that purpose as it is already at the hands of Kuyabog, ring leader of the Trio Los Bobos. The two others members are Sirum-Sirum and Tibakla, both developing their notoriety by circumventing the rules of the kingdom into school kids disciplines.
As perceived by the three adversaries of the king, Kuyabog feels to be above the law. The Canon EOS-3500 disappeared from a table at the media office and was reported to the PNP as missing or stolen to clear the name of the innocent property custodian as mere pittance.
As they continue telling their story, the person who took it had second thoughts or become guilt-stricken that he secretly returned the item to Kuyabog. It might have been officially recorded as lost but now that the digital camera is back, our Hero Kuyabog is under obligation to return the same to the rightful owner - the kingdom by the river.
But he failed to do so according to their “asset” Mr. Hole. Can’t this render him liable for theft and, administratively, for dishonesty and grave misconduct by taking that public property? The camera does not rightfully belong to him yet he took it with intent to profit. Matapang daw ang apog ni Kuyabog, Mr. Hole.
My confidants and I won’t believe that Kuyabog will return the digital camera to the kingdom by the river. His past shows an unbroken record of dishonest acts and yarn spinning. He lies and continues to lie as he betrays his wife Sacrificia for other women who gave him children too, like Karing, Bitang, and a girl he rescued from the raging torrents in the land of the housing scam when bagyo Frank struck last June 21.
As boss in the Trio los bobos, he will surely continue his racket to be able to support his women and children. His son with Sacrificia, is now an inspector of the supplies and materials delivered to the different offices of the kingdom by suppliers and contractors despite his son’s obvious incompetence.
Kuyabog is not a member of the Bids and Awards Committee or BAC but he can squeeze contractor or suppliers to share their loot with him as his office is among the stopover points in the flow of papers, vouchers and contracts.
Suppliers have complained that they had been constrained to grease his palm because of his tendency to sit on the vouchers or payment orders of the contractors. I understand their sentiment as I was already a second year engineering student when I stopped schooling.
This probably explains why in these times of rising prices of basic commodities, fuel and other goods coupled by scarcity of money, he is still able to support his women and children with them, excluding his special male friend with initial “M”. I hope you’ll give space to this letter once more.
Truly yours, Dayunyor Dimakatulog.
Dear Dayunyor:
Daw simbahan man ‘na si ‘migo mo nga si Kuyabog: full of hypocricy. Yours, Hole
